What is a Cell Group? A small-group meeting that includes relevant teachings in which the Word of God is shared in a simple and practical way. Purposes of a Cell Group. Evangelism, Edification, Formation of Character and the Formation of Values What is the Prayer of 3? This is where each member of a cell prays for three non-Christians for a period of a month before inviting the people prayed for to an evangelistic event called a Netmeeting, with the hope that they will follow Christ. What is a Network? Monthly meetings, Men, Women and Youth Encounter Retreats, cell groups, Journey and Discovery classes, mentoring relationships help to develop individuals to their fullest potential. What is a Net Meeting? These are pre-determined services, activities, events and/or outreaches that are geared to reaching lost people. (The purpose of the Prayer of 3 is to pray for those that you are going to invite to this particular meeting.) What are Encounters? These are weekend retreats usually away from home. One of the main points for these "encounters" is for the believer to experience a revelation of what Jesus Christ has done for us on the cross. |
